The Arizona Parrot Head Club (AZPHC) was founded in 1994 by Marlene Buffa. We are a not‐for‐profit social
organization for people who share a love of Jimmy Buffett, Trop Rock music, and the tropical spirit. Our mission is to
support community outreach programs while providing our members with opportunities for social connection and
fun.
We are an official member of Parrot Heads in Paradise (PHiP) and proudly support at least five charities each year
through our events and volunteer efforts. Serving the greater Phoenix area, our membership extends throughout the
state of Arizona.
We truly live the motto “Party with a Purpose!” Our members "phlock" together for monthly happy hours featuring a
50/50 raffle benefiting designated charities. Throughout the year, we also host a variety of events—including house
parties and house concerts—and volunteer with numerous local organizations.
It’s a lot of party, and a lot of purpose!

We support our community—and have fun while doing it! The Arizona Parrot Head Club (AZPHC) is
a group of like‐minded people who enjoy the tropical lifestyle and music. Parrot Heads originally bonded over the
music and writings of Jimmy Buffett; however, we are not affiliated with Jimmy Buffett or Margaritaville.
Supporting our community is at the heart of what we do. We raise funds through our social events and volunteer with a
variety of organizations to make a positive local impact. To further support these efforts, we also distribute funds through the Arizona Parrot Head Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Foundation supports the charitable activities of the Arizona Parrot Head Club and is managed by an all‐volunteer board dedicated to ensuring
that the charities we support are legitimate and that all donated funds are properly accounted for.
Donations may be made directly to the Foundation by visiting AZPHF.org and clicking the Donate button on the
homepage. A copy of our tax‐exempt letter is also available for download if needed.
MEET PHRED PARROT
Hello there! My name is Phred Parrot, and I proudly serve as the official mascot of the
Arizona Parrot Head Club. You could say I’ve got the best job in the world—traveling with my Parrot Head phriends, exploring beautiful destinations, soaking up sunshine, and enjoying incredible live music wherever I go. I also get to party year‐round with the amazing members of
AZPHC... and the best part? I never have to pay for a Landshark or a boat drink!
