About The Event
07:00 (try to come a little earlier to find the group) - Instructions and a little thank you speech. Get tools (if we haven't already) and get started. It's very easy and not physically challenging to do. Â We can work in pairs - one person pokes a whole and one puts a flag in the whole. There is a lot of walking. Â Each group will pick an area and work until all the graves have flags.
As we do after all good volunteer activities, we will find a place for late breakfast/early lunch.
Where to meet: Â Meet by the information center at the end of the street you enter on before it splits. You can park along the side of the main road inside the cemetery and walk or park outside on Pinnacle Peak (most likely not necessary unless you get there really late).Â
What to bring:  Remember a hat and water as there is not much shade in some areas. It shouldn’t be too hot but still need to hydrate. Also wear sturdy shoes - the tools require you to push in with your foot. It’s not difficult but flip flops won’t cut it. We recommend hiking sandals or tennis shoes. Â
Parrot Heads: Â Wear your Club t-shirt if you have one!
